Recently, I stumbled upon some intriguing updates about Raycast app extensions. Being someone who values efficiency and enjoys exploring new tools to streamline my workflow, I decided to dive into my Raycast settings and explore the available extensions.

As I perused through the options, I found myself wishing for a disposable temporary email extension. This would be incredibly handy for managing various online tasks without cluttering my primary inbox. However, to my dismay, the Raycast Store had only a few options, none of which quite suited my preferences. Having been a loyal user of Guerrilla Mail for many years, I knew exactly what I needed.

Determined to bridge this gap, I embarked on a quest to create my own Raycast extension. After a bit of research, I discovered that while the related extension wasn't available in the Raycast Store yet, there were APIs I could leverage to build it myself.

Armed with newfound knowledge and fueled by the desire to enhance my productivity, I set out to develop my first Raycast extension. Surprisingly, with dedication and a bit of coding prowess, I managed to create the extension in just one day.

The result? A simple yet powerful extension that perfectly catered to my needs. With it, I could effortlessly generate temporary email addresses on the fly and even view the inbox's emails without hassle. It was a game-changer for managing online subscriptions, signing up for services, or participating in forums without exposing my primary email address to potential spam.

Excited by the outcome, I decided to share my creation with the Raycast community. After a quick publication process, my extension was live and ready for others to enjoy.
